Jessica Gerhart, FNP-C, DC

Chief Clinical Officer & Co-Founder

After attending the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where she played collegiate basketball and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition Science, she obtained a Doctorate in Chiropractic as well as a Bachelor’s in Health & Wellness from Parker University.

Dr. Gerhart chose to pursue further education and acquired a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and obtained a Master of Science in Nursing, with a specialization in Family Nurse Practitioner. Dr. Gerhart is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with an innate passion for promoting health and wellness in the community.

Jeff Donohue, MD

Chief Medical Officer

A leading authority in anti-aging medicine, bioidentical hormones, and customized programs which help women and men resolve the symptoms of hormone imbalance, including weight gain, sexual dysfunction, declining energy levels and stress, brought on by menopause and andropause, thyroid disorders and adrenal fatigue.

Tara Thompson, PharmD

Chief Pharmacy Officer

After receiving her Biomedical Science degree from Texas A&M University, Tara joined The JOI Group to advance her clinical mindset by focusing on women’s health and pursue her love for compounding using an evidence-based approach to researching and developing patient-specific drug therapies. Tara collaborates with clinicians and patients across the US who are interested in or presently using compounded medications to treat both women’s health and men's health.

Her areas of expertise and extensive research include Female Sexual Dysfunction, Pelvic Health and Pain, and Hormone Replacement Therapy. She frequently provides lectures and webinars on Women’s and Men’s Health and sits on a monthly sexual health panel of experts. She currently serves on the Board of Directors is a Fellow of the Alliance for Pharmacy Compounding, and is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice for three colleges of pharmacy in Georgia.

When she’s not treating vaginismus or vulvodynia, Tara can be found cheering on the Atlanta Braves and Texas Aggies, indulging in some sort of outdoor activity, or just relaxing with her husband and sweet kids.
